MUSC NURĀSANA | MAISON CRIVELLI
Excited to share the final still renders for my spec work for Maison Crivelli's latest fragrance release, MUSC NURĀSANA, with this project presenting a full production pipeline (art direction, 3D color grading, sound design), delivered in 15 days, with a strong focus on realism and emotive storytelling.
Around 3 weeks ago, I saw that Maison Crivelli released a new fragrance and got excited because I've been following them for a while. The initial art direction planning for the still direction and animation took roughly 3 days, then the active process of working on the 3D project took 12 days.
I took into mind Thibaud Crivelli’s story behind this fragrance while also trying to create something personal, without drifting too far away from the official campaign’s direction. I also noticed over the past few weeks that I’ve been enjoying a lot of cinematography and 3D works that were more rooted in feelings & emotions (like mood films), and so I wanted to take this opportunity to create my own personal moodfilm, featuring MUSC NURĀSANA by MAISON CRIVELLI. And after some planning, I decided that “ethereal dawn” is a good descriptive feeling to lean on as the emotional anchor for this project.
As this was the first time that I've worked on a project of this complexity, attention to detail, and scale, there were a lot of issues that I faced throughout the project which required hours to days of trial and error in order to resolve. But overall, I can say with full confidence that this project has been extremely fulfilling, rewarding, and also such a major learning experience as well. Couldn’t be happier with the final results.
The final results are 4 still renders, inspired by Thibaud Crivelli's memories of his mornings at the terrace.
Made in Blender, Rendered in Cycles on an RTX 5060. Additional post-processing done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
