POLISH POTATOES| BOHOBOCO PERFUME

This was a fun one! The goal behind this animated exploration film was to recreate the nostalgic and memorable-feel of how Michał (BOHOBOCO PERFUME’s Creative Director) describes this fragrance.

I wanted to particularly focus on the nostalgia-aspect of this fragrance, and so I highlighted that in the film through sound design (reverb of kids laughing in the background + the mourning dove sound i.e. the "childhood nostalgia bird" + the dream-like atmosphere, shown through the atmospheric-fog in scenes 1, 3, and 4.

The first scene starts out as a teaser, then subsequent scenes build upon the previous ones to tell a story of the origins of the potato (soil), nostalgia from childhood memories (dream-like atmosphere + sound design), and finally the product reveal (last scene).
