Delivered a brand-aligned hero ad that translated their biotech-driven philosophy into luxury-grade CGI visuals.
Belys Paris Case Study:
Official Work: Unique Hydracy
The Opportunity:
When I first looked at Belys Paris, what stood out immediately was their biotech-driven approach to skincare. That instantly placed them in the same conversation as global leaders like Augustinus Bader: science-backed, clean luxury, results-driven. That’s a powerful space to own.
Much of their existing content leaned on product photography and UGC, with some creative variation. This opened a clear opportunity to use CGI to translate their philosophy into visuals that felt as elevated as their products themselves.
Given the tight timeline, I needed to create visuals that not only highlighted their hero product (Unique Hydracy) but also blended seamlessly with the tone of their existing Instagram content.
My solution: a clean-minimalistic look that relied on negative space and smart lighting. This approach amplified the luxury feel of their brand while remaining consistent with their content strategy; not too flashy or disruptive, but refined and unmistakably premium.
Creative Objective:
To highlight their best selling product, Unique Hydracy, in a way that positions it as the brand’s highlight product and a global luxury treatment, while strictly following brand moodboard and color guidelines.
My Creative Process
1. Brand Research & Analysis
I began by studying Belys Paris’ digital presence and positioning. Their biotech-driven skincare philosophy immediately stood out. Science-backed, results-oriented, and clean luxury. This placed them in the same competitive space as leaders like Augustinus Bader.
To align with that, I logged visual and tonal references from their website, social channels, and similar luxury competitors. The insight: while their messaging leaned heavily into biotech credibility, their visual execution relied on conventional product photography. This created a gap I could bridge with CGI.
2. Creative Concept Development
With only 5 days to execute, I needed a concept that was minimal yet powerful. I chose to emphasize clarity, purity, and precision; echoing the biotech narrative.
The guiding idea: strip away clutter and present the product as a luxury treatment rooted in science. Clean planes, controlled lighting, and subtle motion cues would make the product feel both clinical and elevated.
3. Moodboarding & Shot Planning
I curated a compact moodboard blending clinical precision with luxury minimalism. References included biotech visuals, and luxury ad campaigns that favored white space and controlled gradients.
My shot list was intentionally lean: six stills designed for editorial-style polish, and one 10-second hero ad focused on clarity and motion refinement. Each shot was mapped to serve different content needs (stills for social feed, animation for hero placement).
4. 3D Execution
Working solo, I handled modeling, lighting, animation, sound, and grading.
Set up clean studio environments optimized for minimal noise and sharp reflections.
Iterated on multiple light rigs until I achieved a balance between clinical precision and luxury warmth.
Optimized renders for efficiency (GTX 1660 Super), leveraging clean geometry and simplified caustics for visual fidelity without excess render time.
5. Finalization & Delivery
Final outputs included 6 stills and a 10-second animation. Post-production refined the tones with subtle grading to keep the brand’s luxury feel intact.
The final hero ad translated Belys Paris’ biotech-driven identity into a visually sharp and brand-aligned execution, ready for social and digital placement.
